Jagat Chokshi, Managing Director, presented SILVIN’s perspective through his topic, “Re-defining PVC & CPVC Compounding – The One-Pack Revolution in Piping Formulations.” The session outlined how integrated additive systems can significantly improve processing stability and operational efficiency. It addressed a persistent industry challenge—variability in resins and complex additive interactions—often leading to frequent process adjustments, inconsistent output, and elevated operating costs. While conventional one-pack systems have streamlined dosing to an extent, they remain limited in handling broader formulation complexities. Silvin’s approach focuses on moving beyond partial optimization, offering engineered additive systems designed for consistency, control, and long-term performance.
